This course gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge, skills and experience in applying the NEAS Quality Principles to your professional practice through a capstone project. The capstone project is an authentic project or major work which enables you to synthesise and integrate learnings from NEAS Core Courses, Specialisations and other professional development activities with the experience, knowledge and skills gained throughout your professional practice within the ELT field in order to address an issue, fill a gap and/or implement an innovation.
The capstone project may take a range of forms, including but not limited to:
- an essay
- a research project
- a wholly or partially experiential work such as a deliverable professional development course
- a journal article
- a multimedia presentation
This module requires you to conceptualise and plan your capstone project using the project plan template.
A project plan is a written document which records a project’s objectives by identifying goals, actions, resources, assumptions, milestones and timelines. A project plan template is provided here and is downloadable. Complete each of the sections within the template and upload your completed project plan in order to complete the module.
